morocco photography adventure
7-19 april 2025, 13 days

The magnificent Kingdom of Morocco is the most westerly of the North African countries known as the Maghreb - "the West". It features Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines, a rugged mountain interior and a history of independence not shared by its neighbours. Its culture is a blend of Arab, Berber, European and African influences.

The predominantly Muslim country is famous for its mosques, palaces, riads, and medinas, featuring intricate colourful mosaic tile designs and captivating artistry. Some examples of iconic architectural landmarks in Morocco include the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Bahia Palace in Marrakech, and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis.

Join Wanda Craswell in this incredible country for an unrivalled experience photographing architecture, souks, artisans at work, clay/mud brick buildings, colourful mosaic tiles, and learn about the history of this beautiful place. Although sunrise and sunset photography will play a part, we will be photographing things of interest all day long (sometimes needing a sleep-in!). All levels of photography are welcome (even mobile phones). Wanda is on hand to assist with your photography, at any level.
